I have been wanting to try this recipe/idea for ages and ages and ages!!! Perth is well known for their apple strudels - fluffy puff pastry, with a layer of apple and custard and fresh cream. SOOO YUMMM!!!
But this is a slightly different version - instead of custard, there is a passionfruit curd (and by itself it may seem slightly too sweet, it is a perfect combination once you eat it all together!), and fresh whipped cream, and I added in slices of fresh strawberries - mango was the recommended fruit! But now isn't the season - however, I think the strawberries does make it a lot more tempting and attractive...!!! I love strawberries, it would be on every dessert if I could have it my way!!! :)
A dessert definitely worth serving up for your friends!
